Robin Bentler is a founding Partner with Bentler Mulder, LLP. Robin's practice area is entirely focused in family planning and trust and estate planning and related areas.
Trust and estate planning services provided by Robin range from traditional basic estate planning including preparation of revocable living trusts, wills and related documents and extend to the most complex estate planning for high net worth individuals with complex assets and business structures and tax planning considerations. Services further include administration of trusts and estates including preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Trust and estate services further include probate services, probate and trust litigation and related probate and trust court actions. Family planning services include advising regarding premarital planning and drafting of premarital agreements.
Robin has practiced law for twenty-seven years with his current firm and with predecessor firms including five years at a large Southern California firm. Twenty-four of the twenty-seven years were spent exclusively providing family planning and trust and estate planning and related services. The first Three years of his career were spent exclusively as a litigation/trial attorney.
Robin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of California, Irvine, a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law and a Master's Degree in the Laws of Taxation (LL.M. Federal Taxation) from University of Florida. Mr. Bentler's experience includes teaching Business Law as an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University and lecturing or speaking to many groups and organizations on tax, estate and other business planning topics.
Robin is happily married to Michelle, his wife of 28 years. Unquestionably, he married up! They have one son, Jack who is 18 and headed off to college shortly with a goal of one-day taking over the firm. Robin enjoys travel and adventure with his family and friends. He enjoys fine hotels and meals and, just as much, enjoys off-road adventures and camping many miles from the nearest paved highway or town.
