Robin Bentler is a founding partner of Bentler Mulder, LLP and a seasoned attorney with more than thirty-four years of legal experience. His practice is dedicated exclusively to trust and estate planning, family planning, and related legal services, where he serves individuals and families with both straightforward and highly sophisticated planning needs. Robin has assisted over 4,200 families with their tax, trust, and estate planning needs.

Mr. Bentler’s work spans the full spectrum of estate and family planning. He prepares revocable living trusts, wills, and incapacity documents for clients seeking foundational plans, and advises high-net-worth individuals on advanced tax strategies, wealth transfer techniques, and business succession planning. His services also include trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax return preparation, as well as litigating complex probate and trust litigation matters. His family planning services include counseling on premarital planning and the preparation of premarital agreements, with a focus on protecting clients’ personal and financial futures.

Before establishing Bentler Mulder, LLP, Mr. Bentler spent five years at a large Southern California law firm where he began his career as a litigation and trial attorney, developing courtroom skills that continue to inform his strategic approach to planning and dispute resolution.

Mr. Bentler is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (B.A. Economics), Southwestern University School of Law (J.D.), and earned an LL.M. (Master of Laws in Taxation) from the University of Florida, giving him an edge in handling tax-sensitive estate planning matters. He has taught Business Law as an Adjunct Professor and has been a periodic speaker on legal topics involving taxation, estate planning, and business structuring.

Robin and his wife Michelle have been married for over 32 years, and together they’ve raised their son, Jack, who is currently pursuing his J.D. (Law Degree) at Chapman University Fowler School of Law. Jack will graduate in the spring of 2027 and plans to join and eventually lead the firm, ensuring Bentler Mulder, LLP continues to thrive for generations to come.

Outside the office, Robin loves travel and adventure, from five-star getaways to jeeping and camping adventures under the stars, Robin finds joy in new experiences shared with family and friends.
